for Job
-
Nail
double row of gripper Rods around the edges. Make sure that
the gripper rod is 5-10mm from the wall for space to allow the
Sisal edges to be chopped down so fibre does not spring up.
Assure attention to detail .

Fix aluminium Naplock to passage or opening to next room.
-
Cut
airtread to size of room up to grippers and lay over the surface
with grooved airtread side facing down.

and pull back the other side. Glue again to screed and fold
back. Airtread is now secure. Make sure that there is sufficient
adhesion of glue to Airtread by walking all over, otherwise
use a small roller or pipe to roll over the airtread.
-
Lay
the cut sisal over the area and use heat bond tape and iron
to join the selvedge if necessary. DO NOT cross join Sisal Seagrass
or any other natural fibres as these are woven carpets.
-
Contact
all round on the grippers.
-
Glue
Sisal carpet down on top of Airtread and finish professionally
with bolster chopping down to the wall. The Sisal will be secure
and should pull back or expand.
