Brightfields
has transformed the look of reed ceilings. Originally, reed ceilings
consisted of 'Spaanriet', an invasive local reed grown along rivers
and streams in the Western Cape. These were cut and painstakingly
woven pole by pole with sisal twine. Today, Brightfields offers
a large variety of bamboo in DIY rolls, all internally wired for
easy application. In addition, large poles can be split and arranged
on battens for easy DIY installations. We also use split poles
where necessary to enhance 'the look'. Alternatively, we can quote
and install ceilings professionally using the many different options
in our range to suit the most discerning client.
